Guests take flight on the Cloud Coaster at Zava Zone.

Sacramento (August 2017)

The next Cloud Coaster™ project is going to the new Zava Zone location in Sterling, VA.  Zava Zone is one of the latest growing trampoline park franchises in the United States, with other exciting activities such as a Ninja Warrior Course and Ropes Course.  The two-time award winning Cloud Coaster™ will be placed in the 45,000 square foot indoor facility in the next coming months.  Zava Zone loved Extreme Engineering’s Cloud Coaster on display back in 2015 at IAAPA, so much so that they purchased the identical track layout from the trade show floor.

Matt Rehnstrom, Vice President of Sales with Extreme Engineering, assisted in the coaster project with Zava Zone.  “Although the linear footage of this coaster is just over 150 feet, the ride provides a mighty thrill in such a compact attraction,” states Rehnstrom.  The Cloud Coaster™ features a self-supporting steel substructure, not requiring on other support structures from the facility.  “I’m in love with this track layout,” states Phil Wilson, Executive Vice President of Extreme Engineering.  “It ticks all the boxes on a great attraction.  It’s affordable, safe, modular, fast, easy to operate and extremely fun.  What else can you ask for?”

Zava Zone will soon be raising guests up to 20 feet in the air and allow them to experience fast speeds up to 20 MPH.  The patent pending track design and Magnetic Braking System (MBS) is designed to provide quick, smooth turns without having to offer banks into the turns of the track.  This innovative feature has been nominated as a “Best Technology Applied” at this year’s IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) for 2017.  Also nominated on the all-new Cloud Coaster™ is “Best Theme Park Ride.”

Extreme Engineering will have additional information about Zava Zone’s Cloud Coaster™, along with other new project locations, at this year’s IAAPA trade show in Orlando, Florida during November 14th – 17th (booth 3065).  Along with Zava Zone, Extreme Engineering will be unveiling several new products and massive Cloud Coaster™ projects that will not be advertised anywhere else until the IAAPA trade show opens in November.  Extreme Engineering’s campaign for 2017 “So Much to Show and Tell” will certainly not disappoint the over 20,000 attendees at this year’s IAAPA trade show.
