Bandits Adding Mobile Zip line by Extreme Engineering for 2013.
Extreme Engineering, the largest supplier in, zip lines, climbing walls, Extreme Airs™ and adventure products in the world, will be providing the Quad Cities River Bandits with a mobile zip line. The Bandits will be one of the first minor league baseball teams to have a portable zip line attraction. They will also be adding a 25-foot climbing wall to enhance their family-friendly fun experience at the ballpark. “We are always looking for creative ways that families can enjoy affordable family fun and make memorable experiences at our ballpark, and the new amusement rides will be fantastic, unique, and affordable entertainment for the entire community to enjoy every night of the week,” said River Bandits owner and Main Street Amusements president Dave Heller. “All of these great attractions will highlight the ballpark and the Quad Cities as a one-of-a-kind destination for inexpensive family fun!”
“The Fly Wire™ zip lines are going to not only provide additional thrills at the ballpark, but a great view of the baseball field,” said Matt Rehnstrom, sales account manager for Extreme Engineering. “The zip lines will be a great promotional vehicle and exciting attraction for the fans in the Quad Cities. The Fly Wire™ Zip line, unlike any other mobile zip line product, uses patented safety features, such as “Decelinator™” and Auto-Zip™ technologies that safely slow and lower zip liners to the ground. “
This product has been a huge success to our customers, generating serious revenue and providing a fast and safe mobile zip line solution to the industry,” says Philip Wilson, V.P. of Marketing with Extreme Engineering. Extreme Engineering built the very first portable zip line 10 years ago and is the largest supplier in a safe, mobile zip line solution to the entertainment market.
