Industrial Design
It is important in product development that form follow function. What a product looks like must reinforce what it does, how it is used, the image of the company want to portray, and match the end-customer’s expectations for the product. We know that what your product looks like is just as important as what it does. We have extensive experience in conceptualization, system architecture, usability, photo-realistic imaging, and animations.
Analysis
We feel there is a big difference between between engineering and mechanical design. Before a product mechanical design can begin, a good engineering foundation needs to be laid down so a successful design can be built. Performing analysis work up front specific to the needs of the product will play a key role in a successful product launch, saving both time and money over the course of the development program. We are very well versed in the disciplines of fluid mechanics and heat transfer, structural stress and strain) mechanics, dynamics, kinematics, RFI/EMC containment, regulatory agency compliance, tolerance analysis, and green design.
Mechanical Design
Once the engineering analysis is complete it is time to get the actual product design into the CAD system. We have experience across a wide variety of fabrication technologies, both domestic and overseas. All of the products we develop are documented using state-of-the-art 3D CAD software. The suppliers we work with are literate in 3D solids and create tooling and parts directly from this data. As a result, the tools and parts that are created are consistently accurate. Additionally, this approach greatly reduces development time and reduces manufacturing errors.
Quality and Regulatory Agency Testing
We provide test plan creation, thermal/temperature, show and vibration, end-use, shipping, agency evaluations and approvals through UL, CSA, TUV, FDA, FCC and CISPR.
Global Engineering / Manufacturing
Focusing on globally available materials both raw and hardware. Providing "green" design factors and hybrid manufacturing solutions.
